Dr Adrian Ibrahim
Dr Adrian Ibrahim is a life-sciences executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning scientific research, biotechnology leadership, company creation and the commercialisation of academic innovation. He is currently Chief Executive Officer and a board director of Enedra Therapeutics.
Previously, Dr Ibrahim was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Mosaic Therapeutics, where he secured a $28 million Series A investment and built the team that advanced the company’s research towards a clinical candidate.
He spent more than a decade as Head of Technology Translation and Business Development at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. During this time, he established and developed the Institute’s technology-translation function, supported the creation of multiple spin-out companies and led the transaction that created Open Targets, a collaborative public–private initiative using genetics and genomics to support drug discovery.
His career has focused on translating scientific advances into technologies, companies and partnerships capable of delivering healthcare benefit. Dr Ibrahim brings NGD strategic expertise in technology transfer, business development, company formation and the progression of genomics-based innovation from research into practical use.
